VINE LAMP

The vine lamp was inspired by the weaving found in canoe seats, and the way that vineyards are aligned in a landscape. I wanted to create a lamp that would combine these two elements and diffuse light through the weaving patterns. I laid the nylon in straight lines (like a vineyard) on the sides and then reproduced a weaving similar to the one found in canoe seats in the top.

This lamp was the second piece of furniture designed for the WV collection. The lamp features the distinguished weaving pattern found in the collection and integrates it integrates the nylon in a way that diffuses the light in a linear format. The lamp can be used in the entrance of a house alongside the bench or in any room to provide relaxing warm lighting.
