EXPLODED VIEW

The goal for this assignment was to understand the assembly, and interior components of a given object. I chose a quartz alarm clock, and disassembled it. The next step was to figure out how to display the clock, and it's interior components in a neat and orderly manner, so that I could sketch the interior.

A rough sketch allowed me to understand the basics so that I could then move on to a more finalized and resolved drawing, and build the display for the components.

I used a 1/4 inch piece of plywood, painted white, to mount all the pieces on. The smaller components were connected with 1/8 inch round acrylic rods.
